If you live in Connecticut and are interested in joining us please request membership below. Though we are primarily an AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO®) group, we do offer a youth membership for those 13-17 years old. All we ask of our teenaged members is that you attend meetings with a parent or guardian.We also have a Flickr group, for our members to upload and share photos as well as providing another avenue to discuss the hobby.

LEGO Benefits for LUGs
The LUG receives benefits as appreciation from LEGO for creating public awareness and events.  These are subject to change as LEGO programs change.  currently, the following programs are active:
  • Ambassador – As a LUG, we get to choose 1 person to be an ambassador to the LEGO Ambassador Network.  This network is made of ambassadors around the world and they serve as the 1 point of connection to LEGO.  This person can participate in growing the LUG community and will also be the source of new objectives, programs, and questions from TLG.
  • LUGBULK - Once a year (typically at the end), LEGO will provide each LUG access to a large parts catalog where members can place a singular order for large quantities of parts and great discounts.
  • Event Support - Each public event with more than 500 members of the public and 10 participating LUG members can submit an application for event support.  Support can be specific requests for parts and sets or can be support boxes of random “play brick”.
  • LUG Support - Based on the activities of the LUG in the previous year, LEGO will send boxes of play brick for the LUG to use at their discretion.
  • Event engagement - Like the case of Warner Brothers LEGO Movie promotion, LEGO will reach out to LUGs with opportunities to serve the community with events or displays.  These usually have their own embedded benefit.
